Dr Rupal Shah BDS (Hons)
Rupal qualified from Kings College London Dental Institute in 2011. After graduating with honours, she successfully obtained a DFY1 position at this practice, as part of the Whipps Cross scheme (London Deanery). She has a special interest in endodontics, and periodontal treatment, and has quickly immersed herself into the world of general dental practice.
In her final year of dental school, Rupal was awarded the A.M. Clover prize, and was also vice-president for KCL Dental Society.
In the future, she hopes to complete DFY2, and subsequently pursue her interests in endodontics and periodontics.
At Bricketwood practice, with its ever increasing patient base, Rupal has seen and treated a variety of NHS, private and Denplan patients. She has undertaken complex restorative treatments, as well as cosmetic treatments. Rupal has also been privileged to have assisted in some complex oral surgery and implant cases with the oral surgeon and implantologist.
Outside work, she enjoys playing basketball, and plays Netball twice weekly in the North London league. She also enjoys photography and travelling. During her elective travels as an undergrad, she undertook work placements at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, as well as the world renowned Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
