Dr Pooja Shah

Dentist

Dr Pooja Shah BDS (Hons) MJDF RCS (Eng.)

Pooja qualified from Barts and the London School of Medicine & Dentistry with Honours in 2009, where she was also awarded several undergraduate prizes including Best Student for Part 1 and 2 written exams and the Human, Health and Disease Award. She has also successfully completed her post graduate MJDF qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011.

Whilst completing her dental degree at university, Pooja was also general secretary of the prestigious Barts and the London Dental Society and was also the dental representative of the Hospital Society, which was aimed at promoting oral health in primary school children through interactive sessions across primary schools in London.

Having completed her vocational training in Cornwall as part of the South West Dental Deanery, Pooja joined the Bricketwood Practice and has seen a variety of NHS and private patients ranging from all ages and has undertaken both simple and complex cosmetic and restorative treatments, whilst working alongside the various specialists at the practice. Pooja also works at Dr Anil Patel's other multi-surgery practice in Hemel Hempstead. She has a great passion for working with children and anxious patients and has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and periodontal (gum) treatment, as well as enjoying all other aspects of general dentistry. Her aim is to provide a high standard of care in a relaxed, efficient and friendly atmosphere. In the future she aims to pursue her dental interests by attending several professional development courses in cosmetic dentistry.

Outside of work, Pooja enjoys reading, aerobics, travelling and socialising with friends and family.

Dr Chandni Pattni

Dentist

Dr Chandni Pattni BDS

Qualified from Kings College London in 2007. Thereafter, successfully completed postgraduate MJDF Part 1 and 2 from the Royal College of Surgeons UK. Has a special interest in caring for nervous patients, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She will commence the MSc in Restorative dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital in January 2012.

Outside work enjoys contemporary Art, kick-boxing and socialising.

Dr David Selouk

David qualified in 2004 as a general dental practitioner in Hertfordshire and then developed a special interest in Endodontics. He completed his Endodontics MSc in 2011 and passed with distinction and was awarded Dentsply Maillefer Endodontic Prize.

Dr Rupal Shah BDS (Hons)

Dentist

Dr Rupal Shah BDS (Hons)

Rupal qualified from Kings College London Dental Institute in 2011. After graduating with honours, she successfully obtained a DFY1 position at this practice, as part of the Whipps Cross scheme (London Deanery). She has a special interest in endodontics, and periodontal treatment, and has quickly immersed herself into the world of general dental practice.

In her final year of dental school, Rupal was awarded the A.M. Clover prize, and was also vice-president for KCL Dental Society.

In the future, she hopes to complete DFY2, and subsequently pursue her interests in endodontics and periodontics.

At Bricketwood practice, with its ever increasing patient base, Rupal has seen and treated a variety of NHS, private and Denplan patients. She has undertaken complex restorative treatments, as well as cosmetic treatments. Rupal has also been privileged to have assisted in some complex oral surgery and implant cases with the oral surgeon and implantologist.

Outside work, she enjoys playing basketball, and plays Netball twice weekly in the North London league. She also enjoys photography and travelling. During her elective travels as an undergrad, she undertook work placements at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, as well as the world renowned Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
